How to get listed?
1. Create a new account - register here.
2. Confirm your registration email (check your E-Mail Inbox!)
2. Login using the form on that front page.
3. Search for your listing using the tools on the side of the page.
a. If your listing is already on the site, claim it so that we can assign it to your new account.
b: If your listing is not already on the site, Add Your Accommodation and fill in the form.
4. Make payment of R684 to: Slingshot, ABSA, Empangeni, 334130,Cheque a/c no: 4060008707, Ref: {your establishment name} and email a proof of payment to accounts-at-sling-shot-dot-co-dot- za or fax to 0866-779-885.
You'll receive an e-mail with a link to your accommodation once your listing has been approved. Your listing will then be published on the website. This will happen within 7 days.
To edit your listing, login to your account, go to your listing via My Page) and click on the 'Edit' button in the right-hand corner of your listing.
NB: (a) This is a paid service. (b) If you have any queries, please reply to the confirmation e-mail / include the title of your listing in the subject of your e-mail. If you have any queries please refer to the Contact Us page. (c) Listings are renewed and billed annually on the anniversary of the first order, unless a writtten cancellation is received, at least 30 days prior to the anniversay.
Why get listed?
No Commission required
Direct contact with the client. As a paid listing client, we put your contact details on your listing. We also create a contact form for your establishment. Using a contact form means that your e-mail address won't get spammed from our site. Having your own contact form also means that enquiries are forwarded directly to you and do not go through a central reservations system. You therefore do not pay us commission or any other excess on any of your bookings! Just a once off yearly fee.
Mini Website and Gallery
As a paid listing client, we create your listing as a 'mini website' to best represent your establishment, with a write up of your establishment, facilities, area activities, driving directions and a mini gallery of up to 18 images. In addition, since we are experts in SEO, we also optimize each listing with search engine friendly keywords and links throughout your listing to other helpful and beneficial, tourist-drawing information about the area. For example, we would link to our Durban South Africa page , that provides information about the tourist attractions and "to see" and "to do's".
Profile and Maximum Exposure
We market our site for various events happening in the area, bringing tourists into the area.
We are developing other sites linked to ours and they are quickly moving up on the google search engine ranking. Our Richards Bay Accommodation website ranks No.1 on Google when typing in the keywords "Richards Bay" or "Richards Bay Accommodation". We are continuously developing and growing our sites and we anticipate all of our sites reaching that no.1 position!
Our accommodation sites are interlinked, so if someone was looking to holiday in the Elephant Coast region and found our Kosi-Bay-Accommodation site, he might follow the link to our Durban Accommodation site and so forth.

We also have a "Specials" page with a space for each establishment. All you need to do as a paid listing client is submit any particular specials you may be running during a month or season and we will gladly post them for you. We will also market specials and news listings in our electronic newsletters.
We will list your establishment under all the relevant categories pertaining to your particular services at no extra cost, example "Durban Lodges", "Durban bed & breakfasts", "Durban self-catering". Where possible, we will also give your service as much profile as possible, and list other services you may offer under their various categories such as events, group bookings, conferences etc.
